Dr. Musial is a native of San Diego. She completed her residency in Family Practice at Sharp Grossmont Hospital, and completed a sports medicine fellowship in San Diego. She has worked as a team physician for the San Diego Gulls hockey team, the San Diego Flash soccer team, the San Diego Stingray's basketball team, as well as San Diego State University football, basketball, volleyball and soccer teams. She also volunteers at various community events including the Rock and Roll Marathon, the Thunderboat races, the Camp Pendelton Ironman and Hawaii Ironman.

Dr. Musial chose family practice medicine as a specialty in part because she enjoys the long-term relationships she develops with her patients and their families. "It is a true privilege to be a family physician as you get to know and understand the individual and their entire family." Outside of medicine, Dr. Musial enjoys running, gardening, and spending time with her family.
